Creating a forward/redirect "Rule" in Outlook
The easiest way to make a rule in outlook is to use the web version of outlook and we'll be using the web version in this demonstration.
Navigating to the "Rules" Settings
- First, you will need to open a web browser and go to https://outlook.office365.com
- If you are on a town device there should be a shortcut on your desktop to access your web version of outlook.
- Once signed in to the Outlook Web App, click Settings in the top right
- Select "View all Outlook settings"
- Then select Mail > Rules > and click Add new rule
Creating a "Rule"
Name your Rule - Example: Kevin Hawk to William Brinker
Add a condition - If you want to forward or redirect all messages, the option is at the bottom of the list "Apply to all messages"
Add an action -
If you want to still receive your emails but also forward them to another user, select the "Forward to" option
If you want to completely redirect the emails to another user, select the "Redirect to" option
- After selecting an action; enter the name of the person you wish to redirect/forward your emails to, in the box provided
- For the purpose of forwarding/redirecting all messages, leave the "Stop processing more rules" box selected
- Click "Save"

Deleting or disabling a "Rule"
Once you are finished with your rule, you can delete it by clicking the trash can indicated by the black arrow.
- Or you can disable the rule by de-selecting the button indicated by the red arrow if you would like to save the rule for future use.
