Xerox Versalink C400/405 Drum Cleaning Procedure

Error in Prints:  If you get black streaks or lines down the page or vertical blank lines down the page when printing, please try this troubleshooting step before contacting IBS.
  1. Open the door panel on the right side of the printer
  2. Pull out Toner Waste Container

  3. Find and pull out the grey rod shown below
  4. With the pad facing down, insert the rod over each letter (Y,M,C,K) and swipe in and out a few times to clean the drum
  5. Re-place the grey wand back into its original position
  6. Re-place Toner Waste Container back into position
  7. Lock Toner Waste Container in place using the orange knob
  8. Close Right Door Panel
  9. Test Print
