Sending Encrypted E-mails

New Email

  1. Desktop
    1. Choose New Email
    2. Options tab
    3. Encrypt
      1. If you would like to choose further options, choose the drop-down arrow, and one of the options
      2. For a full explanation on what each option does: Types of E-mail Encryption in Outlook 365
    4. Continue writing and sending the message as normal
  2. Web
    1. Choose New Email
    2. Click on Encrypt
      1. Will be an option without clicking on other tabs
      2. If you would like to choose further options, choose “Change Permissions” in the new option above “To:”

    3. Continue writing and sending the message as normal

Reply/Forward

  1. Desktop
    1. Click Reply, Reply All, or Forward
    2. Click “Pop Out” in the top right of the email
    3. Options tab
    4. Encrypt
      1. If you would like to choose further options, choose the drop-down arrow, and one of the options

    5. Continue writing and sending the message as normal
  2. Web
    1. Click Reply, Reply All, or Forward
    2. Click the Diagonal Arrows  in the top right of the reply box
    3. Click on Encrypt
      1. Will be an option without clicking on other tabs
      2. If you would like to choose further options, choose “Change Permissions” in the new option above “To:”

    4. Continue writing and sending the message as normal
